Closed Sundays, but some Saturdays and an occasional Sunday may be required.
If you are not a task oriented worker who thrives in cleanliness and organization, you will hate this position.
Those with an entrepreneurial spirit will thoroughly enjoy this job as it is a new location.
Pay starts at minimum ($11/hr) for basic barista skills, but raises are given as each shift lead task is learned. Higher starting hourly wage will be considered for those with cafe management experience.
Shift lead tasks may include inventory control, ordering, maintenance of machinery, cleanliness accountability, cash handling, increasing revenue and more.
It will not include people management, hiring, disciplinary action, etc. This is a task manager position, not a people manager position.
The majority of the time will be spent as a barista and cook, so customer service skills are still required.
Big Cuppa is a family owned and operated business, which is a different work environment than working for a corporation. Both have their pros and cons, but you should be aware of your preferred working style/environment prior to applying.
